The 2004 Kay Brothers Block 6 Shiraz is aged 28 months in 60% new American oak and 40% new Hungarian oak. This is the finest example of Block 6 since 1998. It is an awesomely concentrated Shiraz with a sweet nose of roasted meats, dried herbs, ground pepper, blackberries and cassis. Intense, profound depth, concentrated and long. Will age for two decades.
